February summary.

Seeing as how it's almost the end of the month, I figured I'd do a little end-of-month summary type deal. Especially since I haven't really written anything this month. My life is so boring. Ugh.

Well, the month started out okay...Hell, nothing has really happened, actually. There was "big drama!" in the friend department around Valentine's Day and that fucked me up for a few days, but I'm pretty much over it now and no longer have those friends...one of whom is an evil bitch-monster, but hey, I'm not mad. Um...I got in touch with some friends I probably never should've lost touch with. I made nice with people who I've held grudges against for five years. Wow. That is a long time to hold a grudge. Huh. Lemme see...My brother got deployed to Iraq for the third time. My dad is buying a house, while we sit up here and rot in our leaky trailer house. Pardon me for thinking that he should help us out every once in a while. Silly of me to assume things. Anyway, I'm working on fixing things around here, but it's going slow because of unpredictable weather patterns....Tomorrow is the one month mark on my smoke free-ness. That's pretty much it. Oh, due to "big drama!", I had to drop a class, which now gives me four day weekends AND Wednesdays off. How fuckin' rad is that? Totally rad.

Weirdest thing ever: My cat, Nyx is like, madly in love with my dog.

So, for the past...eight months or so (I think), we've had the shittiest water pressure imaginable. So today, it was nice and I decided to dig up the pressure regulator valve and replace it. Problem here. My dad built a two-story monstrosity over the black plastic thingie that protects the PRV. Well, it wasn't like, completely over it...well..I'll let the pictures tell the story.

The Hole. You can't tell, but it's about two feet deep. The white thingie in the foreground is the water pipe that I almost broke. Hehe. Notice the hard, red clay.

See my shoe? Also, the little tiny brass thingie inside the black plastic cave is the thing I need to replace. Also, see how I could have easily replaced the brass thingie if a FUCKING BUILDING HADN'T BEEN ON TOP OF IT?!?!

I also broke the shovel. FUCK.

So, I started this whole fitness-for-life thing in November, and since then I've lost (and kept off) 19 lbs. I also quit smoking three days ago and so far, so good. Yay!

It's a hard road, but I'm staying motivated.

I've gone through many life changing thingies so far this year..I opened a checking account and a savings account, I'm saving a shitload of money by not buying things that I used to think I couldn't live without (cigarettes, romance novels) and I am no longer friends with some people who used to really drag me down. I was thinking the other day about how when I was friends with them, I gained a whole mess of weight. But now, I'm losing it! Yay!!!! I'm just so happy right now. Most things in my life are really going well.

I also made the most badass dinner tonight. Go me!
